I found this place on yelp and ended up walking almost 2 miles to get there with our kids. Food was fantastic. One had the steak mac & cheese, the rest had breakfast. Every meal was fantastic! Worth the walk!!

Milkweed is my favorite brunch place in Roxbury and it's always a joy to go back! This time we got the buttermilk fried chicken and it was one the best things on their menu. I'll definitely be back to try other things on their menu!

Cute ambiance! Brightly lit with modern tables and cute photos hanging around of colorful pancakes drizzled in syrup etc. Though notably there is no air conditioning (was dying from the heat in an unusually warm Boston summer). Was sweltering and humid with just an overhead fan that did not do much to cool the restaurant. Food wise, I really liked the salmon cakes! They came with very smooth cheesy grits, scrambled eggs, chopped tomatoes, and a delicious aioli. The eggs were a bit on the salty side but still very good. The tomatoes added a nice freshness. We also had the truffle fries which were covered with flakey Parmesan cheese. Others in my group ordered the turkey BLT (average), French toast (reportedly very good) and Brussels sprouts (I usually am not a fan of any Brussel sprout but everyone else thought they were roasted very well). The salmon cakes were very tasty! Overall rating probably closer to 4.5/5.

Milkweed was the perfect little spot to have breakfast! The menu is very unique, offering so many options for all to enjoy. The Ambiance was fun! And the service was fast! We ordered: -**Matcha Latte** - Delicious!! - **Power Bowl**: The perfect bowl if you're looking for a healthy, flavorful option. - **Buttermilk Fried Chicken**: The chicken was crisped to perfection! - **Pan-Roasted Brussel Sprouts**: A delicious add-on! - **Morning Madness**: Eggs cooked to perfection, savory potatoes, and the greatest pancakes we've ever had! All so delicious!! 10/10

went for dinner last weekend and were seated swiftly! The salmon burger was delicious especially when dipped in the calamari sauce (which was also yummy). Prices on the higher end but fair. it seemed like this is more of a brunch place and will def be back to check that out! they have outdoor seating but it's on the street and was too loud for us so we sat inside which has a calm minimal aesthetic.
